When the bammers are getting bad publicity or lose a game or otherwise get embarrassed, they resort to their tired list of deflections:
Lil brother (As an AU fan, I don't feel small)
258 nashnul championships (always good for a comeback whether they were made up or not)
The latest score of when they beat somebody (have to go back a few games for that)
Recruiting nashnul championship (get em any way you can, cars, houses, suits - just get em to sit on the bench if that's what it takes to keep them away from your rivals)

You really love you some bammer, don't you? It doesn't matter to me where bammer is nationally. That has nothing to do with me personally. As an AU fan, I feel superior to bammer, and no naming of mythical championships or won/loss records will make me feel inferior. Keep trying though.

I'm a gump. We don't naturally think of any sport other than football.
I will grant you the point, though - since I considered academics in describing the relationship between Vandy and Tennessee, I should have been consistent and considered academics with Florida - Fl State. On the other hand, analogies aren't supposed to be perfect, just descriptive, and I thought I accomplished that for everyone but diehard homers.
And crisp - it's an hour later here and I'm a philosophy major, so I can't turn it off. :)

I'd say Auburn... only because I have a buddy who is a AU grad and all he talks about is the red elephant club and shady recruiting at bama. Great guy, but in his opinion all of Auburn woes can be attributed to bama some how. BTW not a shot at AU in any way, just my personal experience. I claim no responsibility for any AU fan jimmies rustled by this post
