Since they have both won the NC, I'd say neither.

Which SEC Coach Wastes More Talent: Miles or Saban?

In the seven seasons since Saban returned to the conference, neither team has had a losing season, the two teams have won 10 or more games 11 of 14 times (Bama 6/7, LSU 5/7), one or the other has won the west in 5 of those years and both the conference and national titles in four of them.

I'm reasonably confident they've both got the talent wastage situation well under control.

Well, Miles doesn't get as good of players, yet produces more NFL players than Saban.

So in that sense, Saban wasted more of his talent, while Miles has better utilized his less talented.

Miles by far waste more talent. Saban and Bama have won three NC. No matter the talent that is impressive even if you take out the mulligan game championship.

For the sake of this argument it should come down to wins and losses. National championships are fun as fans, but they are really fluff bullshite when comparing coaches. 2004 Undefeated Auburn not having one, while 2 loss LSU and 2nd in the West Bama having one prove that

I hate this question and that effeminate girlish segment over on TD. They are the worst.

Terrible Thread

FSU fan worried about what SEC coach "waste more talent". Worry about winning your terrible conference.

So, since 2008(i wont use 2007 because Sabans first year at the dumpster fire shouldnt count)

Miles is : 61-18

Saban is : 72-9

So Saban has done better

Now, for the other side of my post, here are the recruiting rankings:

Miles since 2008: 11, 2, 6, 6, 18, 6, 2
Saban since 2008: 1, 1, 5, 1, 1, 1, 1

So Miles has 9 more losses, but Sabans talent averages 1.5 where Miles averages 7.3. So I would say it is fairly even for talent "wastage"
