What is more satisfying for scrooster; beating Mizzou, or any piss that takes less than 15 minutes?

Probably the second one. Road wins against ranked teams, especially teams you've developed a bit of animosity towards, always seem to be pretty satisfying.

Yeah, I understand that and all, but the one this past year ... I dunno, felt like it was anti-climatic, ya know? Foregone conclusion that we were going to beat y'all ... but I get the idea that you are conveying. It is a legitimate suggestion.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. I'm not posting bowl records, prestige of bowls played in, overall records, conference titles etc etc, again. Everyone knows this and has seen the facts.

How you choose to deal, or not deal, with it is on you brother.

meh, it's Mizzou, I still feel like beating them is like beating one of the teams we're supposed to beat, so I'm satisfied when we win by 35 or 7 either way. Now losing to them would be disappointing, but that might not happen again for many years.

Probably because Missouri's history is not much better than USC's.

Missouri has more conference title with 15. 13 of those 15 were before 1960 though.

The 1960 Big 8 title was awarded retroactively because Kansas used an ineligible player and the 1969 title was split.

So it been just as many years since Missouri and South Carolina won a conference title. South Carolina was independent for 20 years during that time frame though.

Meanwhile, Missouri had a losing record for 12 straight years. 3 separate classes went from freshmen to seniors without a single winning season

Missouri has an all-winning percentage of 54. USC's is 51.

USC has 15 consensus all-america players. Missouri has 12.

Missouri has been to 9 more bowls than USC and won a little less than half. USC has won a third of their bowls

USC has a heisman trophy winner. Missouri does not.

Like I said, whatever and however you need to spin the numbers to deal with the facts is up to you.

No one looking at the two historical records is going to say Missouri isn't better than South Carolina.

This stuff wouldn't get brought up if a certain idiot in your fan base here would just chill.

If Missouri is better than its not by much. They seem pretty even to me

It doesn't take much. Simply identify when the conference championships were won and Missouri does not have an impressive history at all

No we really don't but it's noticeably better than South Carolina. Think about that for a while.

We beat #1 Alabama 35-20 2 weeks prior. So if it weren't for us you wouldn't have even had a shot at playing the #1 team. You can send your thank you card to Columbia, SC at your convenience.
