Are we talking about real or mythical championships?
And not championships in bull-riding either. We're talking about sports people actually watched.

*in before nothing before 1975 matters because A&M was off fighting a war every year*

Arkansas had 7 outright SWC Championships, 6 shared, for 13 total.

Texas A&M had 15 outright SWC Championships, 2 shared, for 17 total.
Way to leave out the other sport I addressed.

Total conference titles in football/basketball:

Arkansas: 35
Texas: 52
A&M: 29

Which team not playing them was Texas more butthurt about?

Which team had them rooting for "their real rival" when playing in their bowl game?

Thats cute. You guys are making up past rivalries now

i'm not even giving an opinion on the question of which rivalry was bigger but to say that ark-tx wasn't a rivalry is pure ignorance. lots of hog fans still hate texas way more than they'll ever care about any sec team. i realize some of you do provide the same amount of idiocy and unwarranted arrogance as texas fans but it's still not the same.

I have a question. I know both have a history of a hundred years or so but...Texas eff'ed themselves with their arrogance and both Hogs and A&M are in a better place. How much time passes before Texas is nothing but a memory? 3-5 years?, 20 years? Never? Serious question.

P.S.
Nothing wrong with remembering the past, just asking.

Or 1990 for us.

Edit: Or 2000 for LSU fans.

Maybe that's the answer to my question above.

How does that all-time record disprove my point?

It more than almost anything proves that at one point Arky was a relevant program.
