LSU: Flynn and Mauck have won BCS crystal balls, right? Flynn isn't done yet but nothing great except a game or two that's made him some money. Mauck is better at molars than the NFL. Russell got PAID but should have been sat behind someone for a few years and going #1, we'll leave that alone. Hodson played a few years but can't give you much on him.
Ever hear of Y.A. Tittle?

Eli has won two Super Bowls, two Super Bowl MVPs and, to my knowledge, has been voted to the Pro-Bowl every year from his 4th year in the league until now.

Not much question on this: Y.A. Tittle and Bert Jones are the two LSU QBs who did the most in the NFL.

Would be a toss-up between Eli Manning and Charlie Conerly, both for the New York Giants.

LSU's Bert Jones

The dad of one of my friends growing up played WR for the Colts and Jones was his QB. Roger Carr was his name. He made us watch his highlight footage when we were playing and thought we were good. His message, get back to me when you're this good (made a Pro Bowl). Bert could sling it, though.

Was it Woodley or Wickersham that went to the playoffs with Miami.

You are too young, LSU's Bert Jones was awesome when I was a kid with the Baltimore Colts.

I raise you a Y.A. Tittle who's in the NFL HOF.
quote:

Tittle threw seven touchdown passes in a game on October 28, 1962, which still stands as the all-time record for passing touchdowns in a single game; Tittle shares the record with five other players: Sid Luckman, Adrian Burk, George Blanda, Joe Kapp, and Peyton Manning. And he is one of only two quarterbacks who threw for seven touchdown passes and no picks in a single game. Tittle was the first player in NFL history to throw 30 or more touchdown passes in consecutive seasons. Tittle's 36 touchdown passes in 1963 set a record which would stand for over 20 years until it was surpassed by Dan Marino in 1984.

Really easy question as we've only had one quarterback start from day 1.

That would be Ryan Tannehill.

Woodley - started SB for the fins vs the Skins.

Shared QB duties with Don Strock. Had nickname of "Wood-strock."

None other than Mr Bill Bellichick said Bert Jones was one of the best passers he's ever seen.

Man if he hasn't gotten hurt he would have been a HoFer
