do you care about what's happened over the past 8 years when Bama has gone 6-3 against you? How about over the last 4 games when Bama has gone 4-0? The last time LSU beat Bama the 2016 recruiting class was in 7th grade.

How generous...and inaccurate. Bama took those games from you. Drove on you and made you like it.

Chavis gave them to you. Now he's A&Ms problem

On the other hand, Alabama plays the weakest SEC East opponents every year. Also, Alabama NEVER plays 2 tough SEC road games back to back (like LSU road games at Aub and at Fla). Also, the Ga Dome is basically in the state of alabama. Bama fans are much closer than any opponent they might face (excluding UGA of course)

For one, I never said Bama wasn't good

Secondly, two of those games were given to you AND you got a mulligan on the 3rd.

How old were they the last time Bama won a Sugar Bowl?

Is it true that y'all never had even a top 50 offense while he was there?

For what we get from the SEC, NCAA, and Networks every year, I think we all pretty much have "pull".

We know what you're answer is by the effort you poured into the Alabama side of the argument. 1/9 is the melt that never ends.

I'm gonna fix this:

Saban going to Bama is the melt that never ends. The bitching from LSU started in Jan 2007, not 1/9. The heartache was well documented by the time 1/9 rolled around.

It's not far off though.

year total offense rank
09 112
10 87
11 91
12 89
13 36
14 80

Looks like Chavis was a bit hamstrung.

Yes. They managed to make it all the way to the 36th ranked offense in the country with 2 starting NFL WRs, a starting NFL QB, and a starting NFL RB on their roster.

Cam Cameron is a genius though and gives LSU the "schematic advantage" similar to what Florida had under Weiss.

As an SEC newcomer, can someone help me out?
Have LSU fans (with some exceptions) always been the instigators of so many dick-measuring contests, or is this a relatively new phenomenon?
Land sakes alive.
We see y'all. It's all good.
No one doubts your programs' successes.
For a fanbase with so much access to some of the most lenient liquor laws in the country, y'all sure are uptight.
Who cares which program has the most (or least) "pull" in the SEC?

Seems to have only started the past few years. LSU's AD is alone in taking his stances. On SEC matters, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia are all in agreement on the locations and Florida usually agrees with us as well. That's 5 of the Big 6 all in agreement.

Vanderbilt obviously agrees with us about the basketball tourney as does Kentucky. That's 7 schools now.

The Mississippis don't want to be broken up and they tend to side with us. That makes 9 votes. And the core of the original SEC.

Mizzou and TAMU are neutral.
Arky doesn't seem to care one way or the other.
SC leans toward LSU's position but not that strongly and only on changing rivalry rules (though SC wants to do OOC whereas LSU wants to nix them).

IOW, LSU is pretty much a one man army when it comes to these things. They try to blame it on Bama or Bama-Tenn but it's not one or two schools. It's the majority that has influence.

VOLS, Alabama, Georgia and Auburn (Big 4) run this conference. The football schedules prove this.

Thanks to the short fields you received by your punt return game and the Chavis led defense.
