I don't see Chavis as the type for having the patience for all the extra BS that goes along with being HC. I really think he enjoys being one of the best DC's in the game and being paid handsomely for it.

I guess he would be but I wouldn't want him.

Fuente or Hud would be my pics

Miles is going nowhere except maybe out for a drink. All of this conjecture on realistic coaching replacements is fun, but in the end Miles ends up staying and if he keeps Hunter and Alexander on Defense, he'll make a run at the SEC championship and playoff.... the QB will be better whomever it is...I say whoever is QB actually completes 55% -60% of his passes next year

I like Mike Gundy. He would be on the short list. I'm sure he's tired of the Big 12. Done a lot over there with what he's had to work with

Also Mora Jr. I could get on board with.

My dark horse is Kirby Smart. No HC experience but did coach at LSU.

Butch had a plum job at NC, the 10th most populous state with no football power. He was able to clean up Miami but got the wrong guys at Carolina. He's a solid coach for sure, maybe he would do a better job this time around.
===================
Eff me, there's actually a serious thread on this on coaches changes board.

I don't believe for one second Miles is going anywhere.

If not, you could try that Lane Kiffen fella, I here he has been pretty good with offense.

She just had a baby, probably needs a little time to get back into her competition body.

Some of her competition pics are a little scary.

Chavis has no desire to be a head coach. He is a DC at a top tier SEC school and that is what he wants to remain. He is an elite coordinator. Hope he is here for a while
