I'm just fricking with you really.

As for your comment. Florida and Georgia are going to have some holes next year, but then again...so will we.

I think the announcement that those two are back is incredibly premature. Also, I'm not at all sold on Butch Jones but he does have the most complete team and should certainly win the East

Since expansion you do not.

We've won more Big 8 titles than Florida

Expansion was a mistake on the whole.

Since we have no Big 8 titles, I think you win that one hands down.

ETA: Expansion wasn't the problem as I think about it. It was the choice of who to invite.

Right, those titles are as relevant as the ones you won before we came into the league in this discussion.

Get it?

I'll discuss what I want to discuss and you'll like it or hide in a safe space.

I won't even bother to mention East Titles as they are meaningless to me.

SEC Championships and National Championships are the only trophies I care about personally. As I've mentioned before, I can understand why a Mizzou fan would crow like a morning cock about East titles even during one of the most down times. Crow on, brother.

Cock a doodle doo.

Of course you a free to discuss whatever you like.

I was simply pointing out how nonsensical it was

Actually, you high jacked the thread with your nonsense.

The thread is about "Which of the Big 3 from tEast has the toughest West draw".

You made an attempt to make it about East titles since expansion.

Nonsensical.

It is relevant to say that we are part of the Big 3 in the East (only 3 teams have won the division since expansion)...and we have the exact same draw.

Florida, because they'll have to play Alabama in the SECCG too.

You are not and won't be part of the Big 3 for the duration of my life time. Florida, Georgia and Tennessee have all paid their dues since this conference was started, adding National Championships, Conference championships and double digit Division titles( and conference titles in Tennessee and Georgia case)

Congrats on your 2 East banners though.

I'd say you are the tier below though along with South Carolina.

Tennessee plays a&m early in the season. A&m is known for playing good early. If I where Tennessee I Would not write off a&m

Well, we actually played both Auburn and Bama....in the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

You know, the one your squad stayed home and watched on TV?

I will be rooting very hard for Missouri to upset UGA early in Columbia, would help TN very much in the East race.

Go Tigers over UGA and UF!

To decide it, you have to rank the SEC West teams. My ranking of the West:

1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Ole Miss
4. Arkansas
5. Auburn
6. Texas A&M
7. Miss. St.

So, it's

1. Florida: #2 LSU & #4 Arkansas, total 6
2. Tennessee: #1 Alabama & #6 Texas A&M, total 7
3. Georgia: #3 Ole Miss & #5 Auburn, total 8

My ranking is subjective, of course, and it may well be that Auburn and Texas A&M should be switched, in which case it would be a tie between UF and UT with 6 and UGa trailing with 9.

Either way, Georgia has the easiest draw and Florida has at least tied for the toughest out of the big 3 from the East.

Tennessee, in that they have the only sure loss out of the three.

Its not just drawing Arkansas and LSU though. They draw Arkansas late in the season up in Fayetteville. It should be a typical late season game up in the hills... cold, wet, and generally unpleasant. Not the ideal place for a warm weather team.

Bad enough to draw an LSU team that, if the QB picks up his play, probably contends for a shot at the CFP.
