My favorite hit was when Daren Bates made Mark Ingram quit in the 2009 Iron Bowl.

Coker trucked that light-weight wannabe glorified water boy "linebacker" and didn't even seem to notice that he had hit someone. Jones was put down like a lame horse, flat on his back like a cheap floosey with legs akimbo mumbling "it hurts so good."
What got me laughing was the announcers. One actually said ..."it isn't a good thing when your QB is getting hit by a linebacker"...meanwhile back at the ranch Jones is wallowing on the ground like a drunk frat boy doing the "worm" at a toga party. Meanwhile Coker didn't alter his trajectory one degree.
QB trucks "linebacker" is the winner because after seeing that mugging everyone in the country knew which team was physically inferior and what the inevitable result was going to be. And with the collection of stiffs, pine splinter-butts, and converted panhandlers recruited from under bridges, etc., that LSU is going to call "LBs" this year, it is likely to happen again.

It was a devastating and emasculating hit, and it did show how superior Bama is to LSU in the physical strength department, but I still think Foster destroying LF7's world was a game changer. The game was over after that hit and LF7 didn't touch the ball again versus Bama until the 2015 embarrassment.
