That makes no sense. If you overrate your own team, are you not in effect underrating an opponent? As you are considering your team to be better than it is relative to that opponent.

A&M had a 4-4 conference record last year. Reading their posts, you'd think they won the conference championship.

That would equal Mullen's best year at MSU.

This. LSU fans for the most part know which games will be trouble.

The Ags are doing what you may call "fake it until you make it." They're trying to play the part of an SEC team until they actually win something of note. It might work, we'll see.

How many SEC teams would trade their past two years for A&M's past two years? I'll bet its more than half. They is SEC stop denyin'. Besides, doesn't your 'win something of note' criteria invalidate multiple other teams?

If we're talking about real life and not just this site it's Alabama and not even close. We're talking about a fanbase that doesn't believe it loses games even when they lose.

The Flagship Era was a colossus of delusional thinking. I don't know that it has any equal in the history of college football. Hats off to Hog fans.

Still, I'm wondering why we LSU fans aren't making a stronger showing here. I mean, we thought we could easily win a NC with Andrew Hatch as our QB.

Not rustled, just going by what I see. Alabama's rep is well-established all over the country
