In stats, return yards, yds per game, TD's for returns.

In INT's and equal tackles in DB.

In sacks and QB hurries as a pass rusher

Not sure if you watched any LSU games last year, but TM7 scored points for us at critical points in multiple games. He didn't just flip the field or get the offense the ball, but scored much needed points at do or die moments in the game.

Yeah Javy was a great DB and a good kick/punt returner. Palmer was also exciting. Neither one played a role like Tyran did for us last year

Javy played the exact same role. What are you talking about?

Javy was every bit as good as TM was. They were both great players. I love how Lsu folks bash and bashed on Javy, and now that they had a player do the same thing, but not as good in some areas, he's the greatest.

I actually give credit where credit is due, no matter what the team. I know your blatant homerism blinds you most of the time, so that makes it very, very difficult for you.

Herschel Walker was great, Bo Jackson was great, Derrick Thomas was great. Tyrann Mathieu was not great.

I'm just arguing the point home baby...I've said TM was a damn good player, but he isn't an all-time great.

He is, without a doubt, one of the best playmakers to have ever been in the SEC

No way LSU has an undefeated regular season last year (first one since 1958) without TM7. I think we would have lost one or two games without him.

TM7 and some of the other incredible game changing plays made by other folks on special teams and defense are what made last year possible.

Good OP.

... and then hg shows up, spouts random subjective crap, and insinuates that all Bama fans are retarded because we have a different opinion on who was better between Javy and TM.

Typical coonass.

I'll take the player that tied the NCAA record for punt return TD's. The only one who had a TD from an INT and the one who had more INT's and sacks. That ain't TM.
