Dude no, he'd be #1. Coates #2.

We know Coates is a beast. We've not yet seen Williams compete against SEC caliber competition. Everyone assumes he'll be great, but we just don't know yet.

Cooper is listed on virtually every mock draft as the first WR off the board next year. This would mean he is widely considered to be the best draft eligible WR for the 2015 draft - a draft in which Coates and Williams are also both eligible. You do the math on where Cooper would land on the AU depth chart, troll.

Am I the only Auburn fan that doesn't think Amari Cooper is overrated? I think the dude is phenomenal. Duke may be awesome...but let's see him against SEC defenses before we go anointing him as the next Jerry Rice. Coates and Cooper are the 2 top WR's in the SEC and it isn't close. In what order? Who cares. I'm going to find you and throw something at you if you say freaking L. Treadwell.

I just pulled up the CBS draft board for 2015 and cooper is not even listed. On the 2016 board he is number one, but who cares? That is so far away and it will change quickly.

Check that 2015 CBS draft board again and see if it only shows SRs. Some draft boards only show players that they KNOW are going to be in the draft. Cooper will be in the 2015 NFL draft and he'll be taken in the top 15 picks.

FWIW i think Cooper would be a good addition. depending on when he joined the team he would be first or in a battle with Duke. If he came straight out of HS he would be a solid #1 if he came during this offseason he would be battling with Duke for 2nd.

I actually kinda agree with you as crazy as that seems. I think Williams is probably the most physically gifted WR in the SEC this year, and Coates has been blessed with speed and strength.

That being said, I'd rather have Cooper is alot more fundementally sound than Coates and he isn't an idiot like Williams.... So I'd still take Cooper over the other 2. Maybe Williams if he wasn't such a screw up

Cooper is great, I don't think he's better than Coates. I think he's likely behind Duke (Coates may be too) but I really am just speculating there.
