I'm calling it now....I said Ark would be the biggest bust in SEC baseball (looking good on that right now btw).....Ole Miss will be the biggest bust in football....they regress and finish below .500 in SEC play next year.

It will come down to LSU/Bama as usual.
It shocks me that the West pretenders (looking at you AtM and OM) don't realize this. The sooner they accept it like Ark, Auburn, and State have the better off they will be.

Ole miss plays Texas still? We will see how their defense looks after that game.
I think they lose LSU, Alabama, a&m, Texas for sure.

The difference is that we play @UGA and have UF at home instead of Tenn and UK. But I see us beating both of them. Only potential losses @bama and A&M at home. Offense has ridiculous potential barring injuries and assuming Can Cameron is an upgrade. We pretty much filled all our missing pieces. As for Defense, I think the junior attrition was kind of overplayed. They were all great and I will miss them all but Eric Reid had a bad year last year, and I dont think I heard Mingo's name ever unless he was jumping offsides. We may not have the talent position by position but as a group I think the LBers and the secondary will have almost no drop off. We lost 6 D-linemen so thats are biggest hole

The concern I have is that this young defense will kind of mirror that of 2010.....which wasn't actually terrible (rushing def wasn't exactly pretty) and turned into a beast in 2011....although the exciting thing is that I think our young talent on D-Line and especially LBer is better than what we had in 2010.

I like LSU not having the pressure on them. Being ranked 13th is where I would like them to be. The team will have a chip on their shoulder. I think we lose at the most 2 games this year with @bama being the toughest game.
Ole Miss will be disappointed this year once again. They talk down on LSU but they forget that LSU has a recruiting class that's just as strong as theirs, 3 proven SEC running backs returning, an O-line who will be a lot better than last year, and a D-line who will surprise most who don't follow LSU.

Will lose 1-2 games.

I would say 1-2 games. Bama will be tough in Tusc. and Athens always is a fight.
And if we all ignore Stonehog, he will go away

Lsu will only lose probably 2 games. Ole miss will lose 4-5.
Lsu talent is still far superior but it also was last year by a wide margin. Les was out coached but talent and depth pulled that game out for the tigers.
Not sure what to make of the Texas game. It's in Austin an they beat our arse last year. We finished the season strong while they seemed to regress. I expect a loss though

I like Ole Miss chances in Austin. Would make for a good road trip too

I think LSU lands around 12.

Lsu will be ranked low and the national media will talk about the losses and the schedule. As usual, lsu will end up ranked higher than where they started. The obligatory miles is lucky will be repeated by espn sycophants but real cfb fans will know that miles is actually good.
Funny how the uga fan has already chalked up a win against lsu.

Nice flame, but the bolded won the title in 2010. I'm not sure they have to resign themselves to anything. Just needed to get rid of the clownshoe coaching staff they had.

I'm not sure how you could think he was outcoached. Barring a phantom hold on our center and someone tackling Bro Wallace on his long TD, the game wouldn't have been in doubt. Ole Miss didn't do anything schematically to cause LSU problems, and LSU didn't make any gaffes.
If anything, punting to ODBJ was a serious miscalculation.
I think what you were seeing was having an average head coach after going through the desert after Cutcliffe with a host of morons.

Probably around 15th.

We are better than the 15th best in the country, but may finish the season ranked lower than 15th because of the ridiculous schedule.

Sounds about right. We should go 10-2, but 9-3 is also a strong possibility. In our FOUR games against consensus top 10 and NC contending opponents, we should go 2-2 or 1-3. Wish we could play a schedule with only two NC contenders on it so we could split with them and go 11-1 and be in the hunt for the NC, but only certain teams need to be coddled like that every year and we're not one of them.

What else is new? Ole Miss always talks a lot. Maybe they can pull the upset, maybe not.

Then why is he 2-2 vs. Miles? Is LSU not a big game since 2005?

If our special teams don't improve it will cost us another loss or two this year. Our kickoff and punt coverage was awful. But we redshirted our senior punter and senior kickoff specialist so hopefully that helps us out. Our punter was also good for at least one shank a game

Fair enough prediction imo.
I wouldnt necessarily say those are all "for sure" losses just because I know what we got coming back and how much we improved over the course of the year but nonetheless, my prediction for next year is ~8-4
