shite coach, coming off a bowl ban and heavey sanctions. The only prospects we could land were life long Bama fans or kids that couldn't get into anywhere else. Dark times indeed.

I was in Junior College at the time. In my public speaking course, I had to do a persuasive argument speech and my topic was getting on the AU National Champion bandwagon. I went through all of these players and their accomplishments and how they would buzz-saw through college football that year. It was a nice argument until the first two weeks of the season arrived.
