Because they blatantly cheated while recruiting him and others that class and got called out for it.

Man that 3 year case of Tunsilitus must really suck. Try a douche. Oh by the way, the word is that the NCAA still hasn't found anything to substantiate the rumors you guys created.

Wasn't the board assured that there was no investigation by Ole Miss fans?

The fact that there has been an investigation was front page news in the Jackson Clarion Ledger months ago. No one has ever said there is no investigation.

Is this the kid who was trying to protect his mother in a domestic dispute and the stepfather ratted out Tunsil to the NCAA and any media outlet that would print his crap?

Will he be available for Alabama?

There is a greater likelihood that you wake up tomorrow with your head sewn to the carpet than there is that Tunsil isn't playing against Bama.

Sorry to hear he can't get on the field because of a dumbass stepfather with an ax to grind with the kid.

My guess is NCAA told Ole Miss it would be wise to hold him out and with time missed and repayment of any funds they deem appropriate he will likely return for the Tide unless the SEC steps in and overrules that.

Agreed. They will play it smart and sit him again this week. Most NCAA minor penalties are around 2 games and this should keep them happy if they uncover minor infractions (free rides, etc..), but I'd be shocked if he doesn't play against Bama. Really looking forward to this game and hope both teams are healthy. To win, we will need some big plays from our passing game because I don't see is running much on that Bama front 7. Have to hope our receivers can make some plays against some of Bama's less experienced dbs and make Coker beat us cause Henry looks like the Eddie Lacy I'm hoping I see Sundays for my fantasy football team.

Is his stepfather cooperating with the NCAA? Has he turned over financials of some sort?
