Dude! Have you never heard David Kellum, OM's play-by-play guy? He sounds like Barney Fife talking normally then if the Bears break it for more than 3 yds he starts Barney Fife screaming. He literally will make your ears bleed. How OM peeps can complain about our cowbells when they have him calling the games is an oxymoron



ETA: State can be proud that we had Jack Cristil for so many years. He described what he saw, never showed bias and for the most part, when you listened to him, you had no idea who was leading in the game. He was unashamedly critical of our teams in his later years, his one-liners were legendary. He could be a bitter old frick to listen to sometimes, but he was always the voice of Mississippi State. I miss ole Jack dearly now.

The dude who works with Eli is awful.

Maybe it's because I've lived up north for so long, but I really like Eli Gold.

True conversation with some guys in my office about the new Washington Capitals radio guy:

Me--he sounds just like Eli Gold.
Them--who is Eli Gold?
Me--voice of Alabama football
Them--is that good?
Me--Yes, it is good.
Them--I thought you hated Alabama.
Me--yeah, that's true. But I like their radio guy.
