Bama:LSU as LSU:Ole Miss...

Ill try to base my optimism on that. I cant find any other reasons so that will have to do.

What are you talking about? They are "fans." Do you expect LSU fans to just give up?

As for me, I will pull for LSU and I always hope they win, but I have no confidence whatsoever that they will do so. It is the first time since the Auburn game in 2010 and the Alabama game in 2009 that I really thought LSU had no chance. Of course, LSU beat Alabama in 2009 and only lost to Auburn 24-17 and the game was tied 17-17 with 7 minutes to go and LSU had the ball with a chance to go ahead. So, never count LSU out.

But, we don't have a defense like we had those years. That is what worries me the most.

Every year Bama plays a cupcake schedule, and we always play down to our opponent. This week we play up, and wipe the field with you gumps.

We're an optimistic bunch. Ever since the English kicked us out of Nova Scotia (because as Justin Wilson said: "they would not swear allegiance to the king of England, they would just swear at him"). We left that cold and unpleasant land and happened to find a hunters and fishers paradise with some warm weather.

LSU/Bama is a fun game. No reason not to look forward to it.

Well, our coaches think they may have found a few things in the Bama armor that perhaps we can work on. Maybe the fans agree that there are at least a few matchups that could work in our favor.

Other than that, maybe it's simply a counter to the feeling many Bama have about never losing another football game under Saban.

Dunno.

1) LSU won 5 of the last 6 in T-town - confident.
2) LSU has been tested more than Bama
3) LSU wants this real bad
4) LSU's defensive personnel on the field is improving and has some experience now
5) Two weeks to prepare and rest
6) Jarvis Landry is finally healthy again
7) We think Jeremy Hill will play all of the game despite his early fumble which took him out of the Ole Miss game
8) Matchups - LSU matches up very well against Bama, and football is a game of matchups
9) Mett will more than likely have a big game
10) Chavis knows Bama more than any other DC on the planet.
11) McCarron is solid, but usually not so great against LSU
12) Bama usually looses 1 game even when thought to be dominant, and this is that game.

LSU's success or failure now depends on beating Alabama. This is the harsh reality of LSU football today. Whatever happens in other games is an afterthought. We may not win the game but we will come to bring the pain. Believe that.

On a serious note, I think it does have a lot to do with a certain property owned by LSU that's located in Tuscaloosa:

Sorry. I meant 2010. It was after the Auburn loss when Auburn's offense put up over 500 yards on LSU's defense and no one thought LSU had a chance. LSU won the game because everything changes when LSU and Alabama play, sans 1.9.12.

That said, I think Alabama wins by 4 TDs at least. I hope I am wrong, but I don't know why I would be.

Weak troll. Just admit you're scared. You will get your "W" on Saturday. But CLM will make it interesting.
