I have seen Armanti Edwards be drafted, as a wide receiver, in the 2nd round after being a dual threat quarterback at Appalachian State... Nick Marshall is a better quarterback and athlete when compared to him, so there's no telling where he will go.

Depends how he measures athletically. Of he puts up elite athlete numbers Marshall could go 1-3 just hecause he can double as an athlete

I see him 4-6 at best since I doubt he runs 4.4 or better, his IQ test will likely not help, he will be considered a system QB, he he is undersized and has accuracy problems

Production and athleticism is only reason he gets draftes

It's hard to say at this point. He obviously has to improve in the accuracy department, but arm strength isn't a problem. This year will determine the answer to your question.

I know this sounds bad, but he will need to learn how to catch. Maybe he can be like Randle El and do returns and learn the WR position. El had a nice 9 year career as a pr/kr/wr. They could also use him on end around and stuff.

Pat White was also taken in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, and he was drafted as an athlete. He served as a dual threat quarterback at West Virginia.

So, obviously, there's a chance Nick Marshall can be drafted as high as the 2nd round, IMO.

I think the Pat White debacle hinders Marshall's chances more than hurts IMO.

The Wildcat was also popular at the time.

Let's see what he does this year.

I was wrong about Dee Ford. I never thought he would be a first round choice from the time we recruited him. I was stupid.

Right now, I do not think Nick Marshall will be a high QB draft choice, but there is a lot of FB to be played and he will have the chance to prove the doubters wrong.

I personally think he does a great job executing what CGM asks him to do and he is a BIG TIME ATHLETE so somebody will bring him to camp even if not as a QB.

#1 pick by Pats. After they fire Belichick and hire Malzahn, they trade all their picks to snag Marshall. Wins ring rookie season. Bookmark the trick out of this and I'll ban bet every fricker in here.......

He'll need miraculous improvements in his passing to be caonsidered a QB in the first 4 rounds. If a GM or coach ever sees a TV interview, he will never be a QB in the nfl.

That's the second reference to his smarts or lack thereof by Aubs in this thread. I've never heard him speak but he must not come across well at all.

Assuming he stays healthy, he will go as a QB and earlier than former self professed first rounder, AJ. Probable 3rd round.

I really have no idea where he can end up going or if he goes in as a free agent somewhere. This year will go a long way to giving us an idea, but I truly don't know.

Arm strength is not a problem, but accuracy and touch seemed to be.
