BTW Who gets the easiest schedule in the conference every year??? We all the know the answer class BAMA.... Even though your coaches are better than ours. If BAMA played our schedule you'd probablly have 2-3 more loses the past couple years and probablly 1 NC.

LSU played UT, Kentucky and a bad Florida team in 2011. Bama played UT, Florida and Vandy. Not a lick of difference in those East schedules last year.

I’m not sure exactly where LSU is today but where they are today is really not that important. What’s more important is how they are trending. Without question the further away LSU gets from Saban's recruits the faster they trend downwards and all signs point to a full fledge free-fall in the next year or two.

Saban made LSU. Your entire fan base knows this. Get on board.

From 83 (year after Bryant retired and an LSU loss) to 2009 Bama had ONE NC and like 5 coaches.

That's 26 years......then Saban comes along, after LSU put him on the map, and falls in your lap. It's OK to admit it......a simple ty would be sufficient.

He made you relevant again. For that, you should be grateful to LSU and his horrid stint in the NFL.

So I guess we should be grateful to Aggie for Bryant too?

Bama has at least one national championship in every decade over the last 50 years. No one coach is going to "bring us back to relevance." We've been relevant forever. Quit your whining.

Sure..why not

Bryant was perfect fit for the cheating ways of College Football. Bama and cheating have a great history.

And Saban got you back to relevance....dwi. Otherwise, you'd have gone through another hiring debacle like Price and Shula.

One title in 26 years. So tell me, how many years fall between 1958 and 2003?

Only a powerhouse like lsu could make saban huh?

and we see how relevant LSU is becoming since Saban left....today, LSU is a mid-tier SEC team....UF, UGA, Aggie, and USCe are all trending better....

You were just embarrassed on NATIONAL TELEVISION by an ACC team. How you can talk about another team being relevant is beyond me.

What does it matter.....it just shows Bama hasn't "always" been relevant. Saban resurrected u from shite and u should be grateful.

Enjoy

Truer words haven't been spoken on this site in some time.

LSU should drop the Bayou Bengal thing and just rename to the LSU Sabans.

If and when Saban retires after another 5 or so NCs at Bama they can build Saban a mansion on LSU campus and that will replace Mike's little hide out next to the stadium

It's the only way they can hold on to some connection with him.
