No way in hell we lose to A&M or AU.

Okay. Knowing how the games end must take some of the joy out of watching them.

Both teams lost their head coach and their best players.

Addition by subtraction.

RBs are a dime a dozen.

You can't judge teams from one year to the next.

2003 AU sucked. Same players in 2004 went undefeated.

If you were being completely honest, you'd have to say that you have no idea how the AU-Arky games turns out. Too many unknowns.

We have AU's number, if not for Cam we would have won about 5 in a row right now.

The common denominator in all of those recent victories currently has road rash on his face and scratches on his Hog.

Old Man River isn't as good, period.

You very well could still beat AU and A&M, but it's not the slam dunk y'all are deluding yourselves into believing it is.

5th behind Bama, LSU, Aub, A&M.

Sorry, but 3rd place would have been expected with a coach like Petrino. You cant expect there not to be a dropoff with their situation.
Telling yourselves the damage will occur after this season is retarded.

old man river is a puppet and the same offense/defense will be in place...

Paul Petrino has game planned a time or two with Boobie, not to mention a potential all-american at QB...

lets not play games here

A little bit.

That doesn't affect some of the parallels between the two programs, however.

Hence, some of the parallels.

They weren't suspended the entire season, broseph.

Less talented?

Tannehill>Showers? (who knows at this time)

Cyrus Gray<Christine Micheal+Trey Williams and possibly Brandon Williams

Fuller is certainly not a loss after last season. Swope and Uzoma return.

Entire OL returns, as well as TEs.

DL is the big hit but Mathis was our best DL and he got a med RS so hes back. Ennis and Hatten are probably going to be better than Jerod-Eddie and Brown.

All starting LBs are back.

Corners are certainly an upgrade in talents. Raven and Everett are some of the most athletic corners we've had in ten years.
Safety is thin but Campbell and Matthews is much more talented than having Trent Hunter back there.

People are making a lot of assumptions about A&M. We have talent, its a matter of putting it together and building depth. How long that takes will probably determine how well the season goes.

Just like I thought, you can't debate it.

I gave you 12 starters that are better than the counter parts for Auburn...not to mention the ST's cause they aren't equal

If you want me to debate it then you are going to have to tell me which players you are comparing. You can leave out the Center and since you included 2 cb's and 2 dt's I can figure those out on my own.

Center I will give Ark a slight edge over our 1st team all american freshman.
Gragg over Lutz is a joke.
Jones and Thomas are equal to Whitaker and Wright but our depth puts us over the top at the position.
I'll give you the edge at CB because yours sucked slightly less than ours last year.
Hocker is slightly better than Parkey
Clark is better than Breeding
I'll give Ark the edge on punt returns but we have the advantage in the ko returns and both coverage teams.
