Depends on what you want out of the experience. We've had club seats in the 200 level my whole life, and growing up that's the only place I sat. Currently, it's only my aunt and uncle who use them and they are getting up there in age. It's' a good view, pleasant temps because you're under cover, no threat of rain, the lines to the bathrooms and concession are literally non-existent (biggest plus IMO. When there's a timeout you can use the bathroom, grab a food and a drink and be back in your seat before gameplay resumes), you have an actual seat instead of a bleacher, and you can actually sit.
Now, I don't personally like sitting there at my age because I wanna be loud and rowdy, but for older folks or people who don't care about getting crazy it's a perfectly fine option.

Closed suites suck. separates you from the game

I've never sat in them, but that's what I hear. Also, most people have corporate suites and you have to be all prim and proper and have to act like your at a fricking dinner party. My buddy's dad has a suite at Sanford and at the Ga Dome. For the Boise St game @ the Ga Dome, we pregamed and then he was supposed to go sit up in the suite with his father but he was tipsy so he sat with us. We ran into his father after the game and he got torn a new one for drinking at a football game in the crowd leaving the stadium.
I've heard similar stories like this all the time.

That's odd...everyone I've ever known that has watched a game from a box/suite has gotten absolutely trashed, because it's the only place in the stadium (at Sanford I mean) where you are permitted to drink liquor/alcohol. If your guy was getting crap for drinking, it was probably from some uptight woman.

This was at the Ga Dome for the Boise St game. And his father and partners use their suite as a networking thing. I'm not sure if there's a special distinction between private and corporate suites but it was a bit of both. I think there were a couple of well connected people he wanted his son to meet. I've also heard similar stuff. There was a dude who I went to HS with and he said that the amount of people they had coming and going from their suite for meetings and random social stuff was unbelievable and his dad didn't allow alcohol in the suite so one guest might not offend another (like the R&B editor did. )

We share seats between Scholarship Club and seats on the 35, row 20
Club: Free Food, Dedicated Seat, Covered, Easier Access to the Restroom. But some folks get mad if you cheer or EVER stand.
35 yard Line Seats: The environment is much more fun. Have to fight for your few inches of space, stand the entire game. Getting food can be terrible.

what a wet blanket. That's like the only positive of having a suite, that and private bathroom. As far as game atmosphere, you would honestly have to pay me to sit in a box/suite. It's not even like being at the game.

Yeah, he was a pretty old dude. Billionaire from what I found out (I was friends with his son, but they were very mysterious. I knew they were very well off, but not how well off until my friend finally told me a part of his story and I googled the rest. Supposedly they were down on the coast because they were getting death threats in atlanta from some mishandling of some stuff. He's probably being sued). Met him once, really nice but I definitely got vibes of being a simple dude. I wish I could still run into him. Get a better job through him!
I have a bunch of random, weird experiences. I can only speak to what I've seen lol.
