They got man handled by a struggling LSU team a week before Les Miles got fired last year, came back to make it close in garbage time (typical miles). They have inferior talent and coaching. What gives them this insane level of confidence that they will beat a team they've beaten twice in the last 25 yrs? Still spoiled by 2014?

I guess they know they are about to play a coach who is 0-3 against them

A QB that is light years better than Etling, perhaps?

When they start grinding, you've just got to sit there and take it in. Don't try and bring reason into the equation, because a good grind is a sight to behold regardless of situation or circumstance.

First, it was 2014.

Second, 4th quarter two score games in the SEC aren't "garbage time."

Third, the gap between the talent isn't as huge as you might think, and the coaching might be even.

Fourth, those games in the past 25 years don't matter. John Bond won four in a row against you. No one's touting that.

Todd Grantham.

You can't give someone a Gremlin when he is used to driving a Corvette and expect him to win races.

We had the ball with a chance to win the game on a final drive last year. The game has come down to the last possession 3 years in a row. The game is at home for us. You have a caveman for a head coach. All of these factor in.

Didn't realize 23-20 was considered a manhandling.

We also had Damien Williams trying to win the game in the 4th quarter and an idiot running our defense.

You right, name MSU players in NFL. LSU probably has a couple of the best coordinators in the country.

LSU has more players in the NFL but they aren't playing an Alumni game on Saturday. If they were, we'd still have the best QB and defensive lineman.

You have to have great coordinators because you have an idiot as a head coach. If you had to rely on him completely, A&M would be chanting Coach O and 8 like I was the last time he was in Starkville.

There was a brief time when I might have given you this. But in watching the last two games closely it certainly appears that the LSU team is extremely well coached. In the game this week they expertly managed the clock before halftime. This is starting to look like a game coaching upgrade. Les was a fantastic program manager but this new staff looks to be better on game day.

Didn't realize UFumble fans were talking SEC football again so soon. Thought you all were still melting on your team board.
