Bama is feasting on a weak SEC just like Spurrier and Fulmer did in the 90's. After this week, all SEC teams except Bama will have at least 4 losses.

Bama will be destroyed in the playoffs.

You already know the answer to that question

I assume you mean when Saban retires?

No doubt Bama will take a step back from the current level of 24 game winning streak, 3 consecutive trips to playoffs, competing for a title every year with the "down" year being a 2-3 loss season. That will likely happen.

What we learned from watching LSU after Saban is that with a mildly competent coach a Saban built program can survive and thrive. LSU was elite for 5 years after Nick's 5 year tenure was up. He's been at Bama for 2x as long and, assuming (safely) that Bama doesn't hire someone at the coaching IQ level of Les Miles, I think Bama will still be a top 5 program after Saban leaves.

When they have to start following the same rules as everyone else. They would still be on probation and winning 7 games a year if they did.

2-3 years? It has to happen at some point

Has Saban been diagnosed with some rare disease and only has two years to live?

Pardon?

We had 5 and 4 losses in 08 & 09 respectively.

Having two very good coordinators running things in Fisher and Pelini were the reason we were elite in 05-07.

3 years after Saban retires or if he just coaches too long and just physically can't keep up. I would say you'll see this at about age 72, so about 7 years from now.

Isn't that the Bama fans motto. I just stated what happened. An above average coach (not getting #1 classes), come to a program that is a middle of the pack at the time (not getting top recruiting classes), on probation for repeatedly cheating over recent years, suddenly just start getting #1 recruiting classes none stop.

It's as obvious as Ole Miss out of nowhere getting top players from everyone big. Not even counting all the coaches and players admitting and getting fired for cheating under Saban. It's just a coincidence his buddy (also a known cheater) is over the NCAA.

So yeah it's obvious Bama isn't having to follow the same rules or they would have the NCAA all over them like Ole Miss and would be punished for offenses while still on probation while they were supposed to be on a shorter leash.

When that changes Bama will return to a good once every 3 years team like before Saban.

What a little bitch post. An elite coach is working his arse off at a blue blood school and has created a dynasty that clearly pisses you off. Your response: nobody can be THAT good, they must be cheating! Kind of pathetic.

It's a bitch post every time a bama fans tries to act like everything they don't want to hear didn't happen. A blue blood school that had been inept for 15 years and yes with coaches being fired for cheating and with all the remarks from players and their families about extra benefits, that's cheating. Not to mention the school was on probation for cheating to start with. It pisses me off they get a pass just because who Saban is friends with. Bama has admitted to giving players the same as Ole Miss. If they are cheaters then so is bama.

You won an SEC title in 2007 and 2011. Saban left after 2004. Your team was still SEC elite until end of 2011, despite the 2008 and 2009 years.

Also, had Les NOT had to contend with a Saban led Bama team, even he would have been able to maintain (to some extent) what Saban built. Without Bama on this run, LSU wins it in 2011 and probably one more - all based on foundation Saban built in 5 short years. The foundation is much stronger at Bama b/c he's built it for twice as long.
