The difference being that you had the opportunity to prove that to be the case and did so. Most seasons are not like that. I don't like these kind of arguments. We have the opportunity to beat them this year, and until then, they won the right to say they were the better team.

This guys gets it

BTW A&M coaches were stupid not to run against LSU.

I completely agree with this.

Why not? I like the stadium and atmosphere and we seem to do pretty well on the road. It should be a great game. What is there no to look forward to?

So do you admit A&M was better than Bama last year?

Beat them at their house and it was just a one game difference in overall records.

Sure you could make that argument but Bama can just point to their hardware. A&M on the other hand didn't win a damn thing.

LSU was playing 6 freaking DBs, and you were still passing every down.

This. Thankfully, our new OC is a fan of the run.

Dont think A&M would have lost to an ACC team in the chicken bowl. I know they didnt blow a late lead against Bama.

And I'm 100% certain A&M couldn't beat LSU last year.

I think KK may have gotten spooked when Malena fumbled near the end of the half. Plus CMike's blocking was arse all season so it made his running plays more obvious.

you know, LSU beat you at your place. our defense contained jff after the first qtr or so. your contention that a&m was a better team is moot. what do you want? sounds to me that you are asking LSU fans to bow down and say we were just lucky and that's bull shite. yes, y'all had the same sec record but we ended the year limping in emotionally because we truly manhandled alabama and still lost. a&m was NOT a better team than LSU last year and your insisting you were is a sign of insecurity. you tejasians can brag all you want but don't expect others to agree with you. i realize that somewhere along the line a&m will defeat LSU and when that happens you can say you were the better team but until you do shut the frick up and go find somebody else to feed you insatiable ego.

A&M never beats BAMA last year if it wasn't for LSU.....Bama was so beat up from our slugfest, they didn't have enough in the tank to whack your asses. That won't be the case this season. Bama will be refreshed and will literally obliterate that Aggie arse come September 14. Hide the women and children now.....the downfall in College Station will begin soon enough.

I know it's hard for A&M fans to understand this, seeing that they have had one great season in the last 15 years, but LSU was National Title or bust last year. The players didn't care a single bit about Auburn, Ole Miss, or Clemson. I think they didn't truly believe that Florida posed a real threat, and it bit them in the arse. Some of the players even admitted as much after the season.

Anybody that thinks the LSU players were 100% committed to playing in the Chik-Fil-A Bowl is crazy.

Y'all watched a completely different game than I did I guess.

Bama was doing the manhandling.

ETA: That was a joke Draconian, I wouldn't touch anything in there.

I think A&M was the better team at the end of the season. That said, it doesn't change the fact that the teams ended up with identical regular season records and that LSU won @A&M. Also, don't forget that A&M drew Mizzou and LSU drew USC in their other Eastern game.

I know it's convenient for LSU fans to dismiss Clemson, regardless nobody was excited about that Clemson game... it sucked that we got stuck in that game. I understand why, but it still sucked and no one was excited about the CFA bowl.

While all of this is true, it reflects poorly on Les and his inability to keep his players focused. I am a Les fan but he has not been on his game ever since 1/9

Only on 2 drives but those 2 drives won the game. The one before half and the one to win the game. Other than that we were pushing them around at will.
