gus may be the one to bring them some stability but when a team goes from great to suck suck then back to great then suck i don't really see why that team should get a lot of respect. maybe that's just me.

You don't see why a team that went undefeated in 2004, won the natty in 2010 and is playing for another natty in 2014 deserves respect? I can see the need for better consistency, but that's kind of a weird position.

sorry, i guess i feel like a team should be intimidating if they're going to garner a lot of respect and i don't find auburn to be one of those teams that i yearly find intimidating at all. like i said, that could very well change but if history repeats itself you'll be back to cellar dweller soon enough.

All due respect to you and your kind words, I don't worry myself with who respects us or who does not in the CFB world. Especially here on the rant. The fact AU is recruiting well, putting a highly competitive team on the field, and developing players gains my respect for my team, coaches, and school.

I hate to respond for the auburn people... but I doubt they give a single frick if anyone else respects them or not.
