Chris Davis made three covers this year, unfortunately one of them wasn't for a great reason...

Actually Chase, Maclin, and Spoon were all on the cover in 2008. And we've been on the cover of the last 5 march madness issues

are we counting commemorative issues or just garden variety SI covers that are nationally distributed?

I photoshopped the last one. This is Arkansas' last SI cover:

I believe Bama's last one was the AJ McCarron one.

We need clarification of national vs. statewide covers.

But I'm certain that there's at least one Sports Illustrated cover where, if you look real close, you can see the Georgia/Bama/Florida/LSU player is running over a Vanderbilt player.
Judging by how Sam played against us, I'm afraid that might be the case with us this week.

"Giving", "miracle". Your honor, the prosecution rest and would like to take this moment to thank the defense for making our case. War dang egret.

I'm fairly certain Vanderbilt has never been on the cover of SI. Just going through their vault, the only Vanderbilt-related covers are of Jay Cutler as a Chicago Bear and David Price with the Rays. As already stated, I'm sure we're in there on the wrong end of a highlight though.

We were sadly also on it after the NC game, but only as the victim of the last TD...So early January 2014...
