Hahaha. Idk, but I know where you're going with this. Dude, state was ranked #1 out of pure pity for a few weeks because the ncaa and the media really felt sorry for yall. Ole miss too, they were ranked way too high that season as well. I guess the entire nation felt sorry for mississippi and wanted yall to have the spotlight for something good for once in your lives. Now, did they even think state or ole miss would end up in the top 5 in the final poll? Hell no they didnt, and they were right, but it was still a nice gesture by them. Has state ever ended the season at #1?

I believe UGA had dropped to #3 by the time of the blackout but I don't want to let pesky facts ruin a good troll.....
