Tennessee wins if Hooker is on. Our offensive line is much better than they showed as well. I think they let that #1 ranking get to them. They just looked totally unprepared. Even against Kentucky, i noticed the offense looking uncharacteristically out of sync. Heupel will fix this shite. You can bet.

Wrong..They heat us at the line of scrimmage yet the game still came down to Hooker missing on three huge throws that he usually nails.

If Kirby did not sit on the ball in the second half it would have been at least 41-13. You got whipped and there is no universe in which UT is competitive in that game

Missed those throws because he knew he was going to get his arse hit every time he threw pass. Nothing would change if they played again. Hooker just no mentally tough enough to get a beat down and keep eyes down field on receivers . If Vols had changed to a shorter passing game like near end of game they would have had more success..

There is a big reason he wasn’t “on.” It was the UGA D. Hooker is not the guy the Vols think he is. He is a good QB for your system, but he is wildly inaccurate at times. Even against Bama he missed several throws to wide open guys and threw an absolutely atrocious INT. UGA pressured the crap out of him and he folded, much lie he did last year. UGA would beat UT worse in a rematch that the Vols don’t really want.

That’s what comes with getting ranked #1, you have to play your best every week! You had your shot to prove that you deserved the #1 ranking, you shite the bed. You can say Hooker missed this throw or that read… UGA played lights out defense and shut you down! You want to talk about “IF’s”, if it didn’t rain that game easily could have been 42-13!
