You can change this thread name around to when Sankey forces Florida to forfeit for refusing to play LSU.

Does Alleva try to leave the SEC? What happens to this board?

When did LSU refuse to play Florida?

As early as last Wednesday, all parties should have been evaluating the situation, contingency plans should have been implemented.

Alternative options were available that would have allowed the game to have been played over the weekend IN Gainesville. Florida refused to play and should be forced to forfeit.

LSU is playing at home on 11/19 and I'm good with that. LSU should not have to incur hardships because Fla AD screwed this up.

Why should LSU have to incur the monetary side of this deal? and the hassle of having to reschedule down the stretch of what was already a tough schedule to begin with when there were clear options to get this game in.

No idea. Florida just didn't want to play the game. They should have still been on a wait and see process till after the storm and then schedule the game for Sunday or Monday. Instead they decided to say on Thursday oh well game can't be played darn what bad luck.

No, he may not be able to.

But he can put a 7-1 Alabama team that LSU beat in the SECCG over a 6-1 LSU.

So how tightly will you want to cling to that OOC game?

Actually that is the only thing that I don't like about what Joe did this morning. I'd have tried to come up with some way to make my power play but still slow play the situation.

I want to be able to make the decision to play in Florida on 11/19 on Sunday 11/13 if I run the Ole Miss, Bama, Ark gauntlet.

That is fact based reported by multiple new outlets and the 4 letter network and I heard it from my athletic director from his own mouth.....I don't believe a word of what you or Jeremy Foley say especially when UF had the 2 requirements for any good crime...motive and opportunity.

6-1 LSU.

You Gumps have said all along that there was no way we even get to 6-1. So, what's all this panic about now?

LSU fans sure changed their tune. Early last week it was "it is to dangerous for us to go to Gainesville so they should move the game to Baton Rouge." Now it is "Florida was to chicken to play under threat of hurricane."

LSU canceled a game last year and it didnt bother anyone. And then the worse thing that can happen, the SC game led the LSU people to somehow believe they can dictate other schools play in case of a natural disaster. SC should NEVER have gone to Baton Rouge. Because now those pussies are afraid to play Florida in a make-up game in Florida because they know they will lose like they did on the road in Auburn. This melt is all because FL wouldn't move their own home game to Baron Rouge. This is all about LSU feeling entitled.

God... I didn't think a fan base could be more narcissistic or whinny but I was wrong. Schedules, refs, SEC office location, replay officials, more schedules, FBI notification, individual refs, even the national press apparently conspires to keep LSU in 4th place in the SEC west. It is pathetic and it is old. Just leave the conference you bunch of paranoid self centered fools. LSU is not anyone's big rivalry important game anyway. Better yet, just continue to melt. At least that is entertaining unlike an LSU football game played in front of a half empty stadium.

Not me. Who's panicking? I'm just pointing out that clinging to the OOC game is just bluster. If it ends up looking like that would cost you the SECCG, you'll drop that game in a heartbeat. Sure, you may get some cash concessions out of the SECCG. But you will drop the game.
