This article is probably the most comprehensive I have seen on Kiffin leaving Tennessee. It includes comments by Tennessee athletic department staff, football players, television reporters, ESPN reporters, print media and I believe the athletic director. There is also quite a bit of video.
All water under the bridge now, but interesting to hear from all sides, except Kiffin, who wasn't allowed to comment by Alabama. Not that he probably would have anyway, IMO.

I dont know whats more dirty, the way Lane left UT or the way Urban left UF.

Tennessee fans glorified Kiffin when he came to Knoxville. They put him at an almost demigod status.
The recruits, they looked at the stars, reminiscence of Greece, they pointed to their warriors.
