Not putting up with Kiffie for one more game

Calling time out with one second left to try an impossible field goal against Auburn

You are such a dumbass. So much fail in that statement other than us being a dumbster fire. He won a NC at LSU you clueless frick. He failed misreably in the NFL.

Let's not forget he turned that dumbster fire at Alabama into a pretty good program I would say.

So sick of the spew of bullshite that comes out your mouth. You bring zero to any conversation that is brought up, other than showing your ignorance.

"extremely long" is not a specific distance.

As are the vast majority of alums. You are only the second person I have run across in my life who graduated from a major university without becoming a fan of that university's athletics program. The other was a high school teacher of mine who graduated from Auburn yet cheered for Alabama. He was an idiot.

So therefore, it's no shock to me that you embody many of the qualities I found in him.

If you're talking about Lane Kiffin it might surprise you to know just how lampooned his hiring was when it was first announced in January 2014. Many predicted the end of Saban. Now here we are, three years removed, and some people are wondering if we can ever be effective on offense again without Kiffin calling plays.

I'm not surprised in the least. I laughed probably louder than most and crowed in the faces of many of your ilk. I am, however, man enough to admit the rare occasion when I am wrong and have done so many times here and elsewhere over that situation.

Yea, until he had 2 things to do at once, and then he reverted back to scatter brained, can't pay attention, USC Head Coach also trying to call plays disaster Lane Kiffin.

I'm not sure we should have fired him, but the Lane Kiffin we had in the Playoffs was not the previous 3 years Lane Kiffin. He clearly could not handle 2 jobs at once. Now, he might have still put something together for Clemson better than Sark did (and better than the abortion of a gameplan he had against Washington). That's possible.

I mentioned the exact distance twice...I'm starting to see what your user-malfunction is.

Well then you live under a rock. I know three or four Bama fans that went to Auburn for engineering and others such as myself that went to Bama for their business/ law schools. It would be retarded to let a football team form the foundation of my professional career.

Ben Obamanu is currently attending UA's law school and stays decked out in O and B. Quality Bammer education for a quality Auburn man.

you lost me. keep in mind I dont follow Bama football much beyond watching a few of their games so I have no idea about organization, responsibilities etc. in some ways he does remind me of Malzahn though, great as an OC but gets overwhelmed and loses his shite as a HC. what extra were yall asking of him and why? if I have a guy that good at calling an offense and I change something a frick up his chi I'm not gonna blame him and then fire him. that doesnt even make sense beyond just being sick of the guy and thats my excuse for firing him.

He'd been hired at FAU before the playoffs started. He was both hiring a staff and recruiting for FAU and doing his job as OC for us. His Washington gameplan (and hell, his own admission later) showed that he didn't have the ability to multi-task and do both and do both well. Clemson could have been different, but there is no reason to expect that it would have been. Everyone knows that Kiffin has flaws and that one of them is being task oriented and basically anything having to do with compartmentalization and doing multiple things well at once. He is great when locked in a room and told to draw up plays and analyze film, which he did for 3 years, but when you introduce more balls to juggle.............it's never been his thing.

And I say this as somebody who frickin loved Kiffin. But what we saw in his first post-FAU hiring game was not the same guy we had for 3 years. It was a total disaster.

Saban didn't ask him to do anything extra, he accepted the FAU job and was trying to juggle both jobs.

Are those the posts I quoted from?

Then they are idiots - much like you. I'll never understand someone who goes to a school for 4-6 years, spends money at that school, studies at that school, lives at that school, and graduates from that school - all while cheering for another team....their arch-rival no less. They have literally zero connection to Auburn or Alabama other than the fact that they rooted for them when they were kids/teenagers.

That's different. He was a four-year starter at Auburn and won an SEC Championship with them.

Yea - honestly my thought was he should have told him thanks for everything and cut ties immediately. But I think he hoped Kiffin had figured it out and was improved. Clearly he wasn't, and it might have cost us the title. Because Sark with all of December to prepare is different than Sark with 6 days.

Oh well, shite happens.

It wouldn't hurt you to do a smidge of research before you post about the inner workings of the Bama football operations.

All these horrible decisions by Saban, and he hasn't lost more than 2 games in a year since 2010.
