Yeah most of the greenies were upset that we passed on Cannizzaro. I hope he does well at State. We'll definitely feel the butthurt if he wins a ship

One of the top baseball schools in the SEC. have made it to 4 cws in the past 16 years. I feel like that's pretty good.

We lost our Friday and Saturday guys in Sexton and Hudson, but our day 3 guy was a true freshman and looked great in the Cape. We got plenty of talent waiting in the wings to pick up the pitching slack, they just gotta step up.

Hitting will be interesting. We lost a lot of our power from last year but still return some very solid bats including freshman phenom Jake The Snake Mangum. Maybe hiring Cannizzaro will help some here as well.

Considering Maneri is still HC and Cannizzaro bolted for Moo U and has been replaced with a GA, I'm honestly just hoping to host a regional. Maneri hasn't been able to get it done and you really start to wonder why. Regional let downs, super regional let downs and CWS let downs gear after year at this point, one would conclude that another let down will likely occur.

LSU should have the lineup to make a serious run. Will need to find a third starter but Friday Saturday and the bullpen should be strong.

We lost Brady Bramlett and Chad Smith who were two weekend starters last year. We also lost Wyatt Short who was our closer.

I stand corrected. just went back and reread the article on our baseball team, and it said "the bullpen, which was the strength of last years squad, returns virtually intact." I am guilty of misreading and misleading...I redact my comment to now say we will suck. (not)

I feel pretty good about Ole Miss' chances of hosting a regional this year. I think we have a top 15, possibly top 10 team this year

Better than last year. It was rough bringing in a new coach during fall practice. I'm thinking Auburn wins 13 to 15 SEC games this year and makes a regional.
