That actually doesn't make a difference. They ruled that DJ's wrist made contact which made him down. They didn't say that he was down because the hand he had the ball in was down.

That video was WEAK. If anything I would say his fist was on the ground.

I thought I remembered them saying that since it was the wrist of the hand with the ball he was down. I may be remembering wrong.

Honestly, i don't think you should be down if your non-ball carrying hand/wrist/forearm touch. If any elbow, knee, etc hit though regardless if it is the arm with the ball, you are down.

It doesnt matter about the hand carrying the ball or not, the call was made because it was the palm side of his wrist, if it was the opposite side he would have been ruled down, the right call was made.

Both weren't down by contact IMO (and I despise both teams)
