And Florida wins, what degree would the melt be in the rant?

What would be the most common excuse?

I don't think there would be a bigger melt than any other loss. LSU fans simply didn't want the game cancelled. If it's played, great. Now, if LSU, for whatever reason, had this game decide winning or losing the west, then sure there would be a huge melt on how it was unfair. But that isn't the likeliest of scenarios

They will say they would've beaten UF last Saturday. They will say that UF wanted to postpone the game, giving their qb time to get healthy. aTm reacted the same way back in the late 80's with Bama. Bama's qb(David Smith, now a referee), was injured during the cancelled game, but played in the rescheduled match.I remember aTm fans were calling Bama the "Yellow Tide"

Wont really be that much of melt because LSU is going to lose a few games and be completely out of the race before it will be played

That they won it on the field.... I still get mad that we beat Bama in 1972 and finished the SEC with one loss to LSU, Bama played an extra SEC game against Vandy back then and won the SEC on percentage points.

because lsu will cancel and aggie gonna be left with one less game

Come on man. Cooler heads are going to prevail and they will work all this out. I'm sure Alleva has a plan and several options on the table.

Not sure why everyone is acting so silly. Can't we be adults and just let this play out. ESPN had a reporter following Alleva this morning on the way to the SEC offices. Will see if I can find anything on it.

Here it is... he is on the way... just like I told you.

I will never say that.

1. This does allow Florida to get all of there injured players healthy, but so does LSU. Fournette would not have played this week and our two injured offensive linemen should be well by then so that is a wash.

2. The one advantage Florida gains is having more time to scout LSU under the new regime for tendencies, etc.

3. Other than potentially screwing LSU out of a home game
and Baton Rouge businesses out of millions of dollars that would be it.

LSU beats Mizzou and all of a sudden delusional fans forget how 2 weeks ago they all said the team sucked and couldn't wait till the end of the season to fire their deadbeat coach.

Now, they are believing they are backing into the playoffs

I'm not sure why you, in particular, can't seem to grasp wanting the results settled on the field. That notion is not mutually exclusive with thinking LSU will win the west. Very few LSU fans actually believe LSU is going to win out, with or without the Florida game. They just want the opportunity to play all the games on the schedule.

UForfeit looks to win about 2 more games this year and LSU would not be one of them.
