The last expansion caused so much pain in scheduling that I don't think the SEC will expand again. The only reason that they did this time was to lure the SEC Network. Now that there is a network, there is no financial reason to expand. It would only mean dividing the money between two more schools. What's the point in that? I think the only major change will be when they figure out that the 8 game schedule is not working and change it to 9 conference games.

What if they got rid of all the current conferences, kicked out all the poors, split the country into 4 new conferences, then split them into divisons, and get rid of the ncaa and start their own league. Start revenue sharing, wild cards, and trades. Florida would have had to give up a first rounder for a kicker last year. ND and Texas, shite or get off the pot.

Add Oklahoma. That way their shitty trolls who have signed up here will actually have a reason to be here in the first place.

And it still won't level the playing field for those two. That is more of a black eye to the conference than it is to Clemson. Plus, you can't have too many tigers, they'd have their own division.

Go back to 12 teams. FBS should be restricted to 6 conferences of 12 teams each with possibility of being relegated in cases of becoming weak and useless like USJW.

Reminder: Further realignment is not possible until the GORs in the ACC and the Big 12 expire in the mid-2020s. A very few schools, such as Cincinnati, UConn and BYU may be at the P5 level right now but there just aren't enough to stimulate expansion at this time.
