We need A&M to keep Jimbo, so I hope he can get to 8&4 each year. He won't make it this year, but I think they give him next year when this big class comes in. But I'm happy if he stays and gets to 8 or maybe even 9 wins.

I hope he isn't canned this season or next, I like the way it is right now....getting pre-season hype and falling back to mediocrity.

Sounds like the way the rest of the SEC felt towards the back end of Miles’ career.

Mike Desormeaux is a better coach than Jimbo.

With his buyout, he won’t coach again.

Yeah you’re right. I was just more referring that the 07 offensive players were mostly developed under him and left Crowton with everything he needed to succeed. To me still kinda helps. Who knows where those players would be developed wise had he not stayed after saban left. Bc we all saw how crappy Crowtons development skills were as his tenure here went on. But yes technically 1.

They’re not spending 86 mil to fire Jimbo and turning around to offer someone else 100 mil

No doubt, close to $200M to make that move is close to 40% of their stadium upgrade costs. Even Aggy can’t touch Fisher until 2025 at earliest.

It’s critical on these 10 year $100M deals to get the right guy. There is no eject button like O at $17M.

What does Jimbo have to offer? The coaches Saban outs in his rehab clinic usually can offer some new innovative ideas to offense or defense.
