Alabama 1997.

They were struggling and weren't used to losing to us twice in a row. We'd get 4 of 5 before it was over, but that was the only time an opposing fan ever tried to start something over a damn game.

at Mississippi state. Before the game some kids spit from the "upper deck" of the stadium spit on the people walking around outside and it landed on my ear. The fat state cops wouldn't go find them. Plus we were in Starkville.

Did you yell "I'm hit!" and did the spit bounce off you and hit your friend?

Not sure I've ever had a "bad" one per se but I've been to Auburn 3 times and it's definitely the least fun away trip, although if I went to Starkville a 2nd time that might take the cake.

1980. Road game @ RICE. Tigers were a HUGE favorite and Stovall and Alan Risher were in their first seasons. LSU lost 7-17 as they played a horrendous game

I watched a grown man in an LSU shirt try to pick a fight with a 12 yr old kid at the Sugar Bowl a few years back. LSU wasn't even playing.

I can't even imagine going to BR and having to deal with 100k people who have the same badass attitude that guy had. He really showed that kid who was boss that night.

Maybe it would be better to just show up after halftime when half of them have left the stadium.

Knoxville. Don't remember the year, but Jamrcus Russell threw the last second TD for the win. Friday night before the game we got kicked and drinks thrown at us at the bars (no we weren't acting retarded or obnoxious). Day of the game we hung out at Calhouns with no issues, until we walked around to take in the sights. Again drinks were thrown at us, not one tailgate was hospitable. Stadium experience was ok, but they have Rocky Top on repeat for the whole damn game. After the game we got cussed at and some tried to pick fights with us. I have been to almost every away venue and haven't had anywhere near the issues that I had in Knoxville. I'll never go back.

Ah, that was the 2006 season. I always wondered who the couple of dick sucking vaginas were that wouldn't man up. Glad you enjoyed Calhouns.......and yes, never come back

Without a doubt the 2012 game at South Carolina. I've been to every stadium in the conference except A&M and have been to Columbia for the Georgia game at least a dozen times. I've never had a bad experience there until that night. This was different. It was aggressive. I don't know if it was the shitty techno music that whipped them into frenzy or what but I was legit concerned on the way back to the truck.

Notre Dame.
The most miserably overrated environment.
Unfriendly fans.
Few students--more Chicagoans.
It was depressing.

1999 - MSU @ LSU

Had seats on row 1, directly behind the MSU bench. Couldn't see anything on the field. Sometime in the 3rd quarter some LSU fan decided to kick my 15 year old sister in the back because she wouldn't sit down.

I was promptly escorted out in handcuffs. The security guards wouldn't let my sister come with me. Luckily, some reasonable LSU fans helped my sister find me and explained to my captors the events that took place and I was released.

Anytime anyone mentions LSU, hg has to show up. Didn't know they had wireless internet down in the swamp trailer park.

Pretty much everything at Texas Tech in the stadium.

After the game, it was a big keg party.

In terms of the worst single-game experience, it had to be A&M at Oklahoma 1997.

Despite winning 51-7, it was hovering around 10 degrees the entire game with howling winds and was just flat out miserable.

This had to be 98 or 00 because we played LSU at home in 99 and won 17-16. The last time we beat LSU at home.
