Defensive battle early. Neither team is able to score during the first 13 min of game play.

LSU scores first by a 43 yd bomb on 1st down from JJ to Randle at the end of the first to go up 7-0.

Bama answers midway through the second with a long drive capped off with a 4 yd TD run by TR. 7-7.

LSU ends the first half with a FG to go up 10-7.

LSU receives to start the second and drives 60 hard fought yards for a 12 yd TD run by Hilliard. LSU 17-7.

Bama answers with a 60 yard drive ending with a FG 17-10.

LSU looks like it just needs to wind the clock down late in the fourth, but goes 3 and out. Bama gets the ball back with 4 min left on the clock but is able to move to the LSU 35 and is facing 4th and 5 with 1:25 left on clock. Saban goes for it and Bama scores out of the wild cat formation. 17-17 with 1:11 left to go...everyone thinks its going to overtime. Alabama fans are going crazy thinking it's destiny.

Bama, banking on a defensive stop and content to go to OT, kicks the ball to HB7 who catches it at the LSU 14 and starts running it back dodging defenders, juking left, right, stutter stepping. He gets all the necessary blocks and takes it to the house. LSU 24-17 with :52 seconds left. LSU fans going crazy! {insert image of same Bama dude crying}. LSU players are jumping around but Coaches are warning them it ain't over.

LSU kicks the ball and Bama returns it to the Bama 45. With :40 left, Bama attempts a pass for the first down but Mo Claiborne reads him and picks AJ off and runs it back to the house.

LSU wins 31-17
