LSU could win the west but Auburn has to be the favorite--followed by bama.

We have to many unknowns at this time.

1. QB
2. Can we stop a good running attack--(Ark.)
3. Kicking game was kinda off last year also.

Strength will be pass defense and running the ball.
Probably 8-4 with 10-2 at best.

I'm not predicting y'all are going 4-8, nor am I predicting y'all to hit the .500 mark.

There is always a chance bud. Key injuries along the way plus a rough schedule . . . anything could happen, especially when you have a clown arse cheerleader calling the shots.

Best case scenario: SEC West champions and a legitimate shot at a playoff berth
Worst case scenario: QB play is still atrocious, Chavis is missed, and the Tigers limp to an 8- or 9- win season

Exactly, so there's no chance Butch is fired.

Bama goes 9-3 with losses to UGA, A&M(you said bold right?), and Auburn. Atleast 5 bammers commit suicide while on the air on Finebaum

A&M beats Bama at Kyle Field and LSU in Death Valley

Tennessee goes 9-3 (losses to ARK, UGA, Bama)

Spurrier retires after 5-7 season

Jeremy Johnson goes to New York and Auburn goes 12-0

Dooley also left Butch in a much worse situation than Urban left Muschamp in. Butch should be on the hotseat if he has a bad year for sure, but he's recruiting like a mad man and if I were a tennessee fan I would at least want to see what he could do with his own upperclassmen, not the remains of a pathetic recruiter.

I can deal with that! It really just all revolves around QB play. Our defense will be beastly

Will Muschamp got another season after going 4-8 but he went 11-2 and went to a BCS bowl in 2012.

Yep, we could have a mediocre season. Much like ole miss has had a less than mediocre history

I hope I'm wrong but...

The East will be better than the West. Not at the top necessarily but overall.

Tennessee will be much improved with Dobbs as a full year starter. They'll start winning more of those close games. South Carolina and Florida will return to consistency. Georgia will be really good like they have been lately. Missouri will be solid and Kentucky will pull off an upset or two.

I mean, you're deflecting from the fact that it is not outside the realm of possibility for y'all to struggle again, especially considering your brutally front-loaded schedule, but okay. You brought up the Rebals, for no reason. We already covered how Tennessee fans are the kings of deflection in one thread today and you just proved cardboardboxer's point

Do a little research and get the sand out of your vajayjay, brah.

7 wins would be OK, but a little disappointing. Anything less than 7 would be really bad. I don't see how this team wins less than 7 this year.

Do you agree with me that Butch would get fired if the VOLS turned in a 4-8 or 5-7 season?

Obviously, I realize that is far fetched y'all finish at 4-8 or 5-7. Your Orange and White bro BigOrangeBri is a little too dense to see the context of my statement and got butthurt about that.

4 or 5 wins would be atrocious. I'd imagine 4 wins would be an automatic firing. 5 wins would depend on the recruiting class at stake.

Butch would really have to frick everything up for either of those possibilities to come to fruition.

Rightfully so.

Gotta get the monkey off your back against OU in week 2.

Tornado, I honestly think it just would depend on how that 4-8, 5-7 season happened. If all the games were close, and UT suffered multiple injuries to important players, no way is he being fired, nor should he be. On top of that, if they struggle because the O Line is terrible I couldn't blame Butch quite yet because Dooley left them with absolutely nothing at arguably the most essential position in the game.

But if he gets outcoached (which is a possibility with Butch's X's and Os sometimes), and the team looks like they've given up on him than he could absolutely be gone. I just think that there's less than a 3% chance this happens.
