The Columns... in the 1890s the Academic Hall burned down and the columns were the only part still standing

North side of campus looks nothing like it did when I was there in the 80's.

...although you can still smell Paty as you drive by.

Not a landmark but the albino squirrel. Its legendary for giving good fortune to those that see it before a test/exam.

So I'll add the Indian Mounds

On UA's campus you'll see a discolored smokestack building, it's actually kind of an eyesore. But the reason it's there is because it is the only building that survives from before the Civil War, during which the Yankees burned down Alabama's campus.

Y'all need more friends in high places.

Grant burned Oxford down and most of the Ole Miss campus, save for the Lyceum, the chapel (now the Croft building) and the observatory at the behest of Chancellor Barnard, who was a personal friend of Grant's.

The observatory is now named after Barnard and isn't actually an observatory anymore.

ETA: And the answer for OM is obviously the Lyceum, seen here behind the Civil Rights monument and James Meredith statue.

Bonfire memorial

I love the bonfire memorial. It really is beautiful. I love the doors that look towards the hometowns of each student that died. Really powerful stuff.
