Or if you could have the bést non QB in the SEC next year what position would you want the player to play?

If you're talking an individual at a position, probably DE.

But if we're talking multiple guys at one position, OL.

Position groups: It's always OL/DL

Individual position: A stud DE or an elite DT

No doubt. A dominating DE can dictate a game and mask many a deficiency.

I would have said DE as well, and I've always been a defense > offense guy, but the nc this year showed me even a historical defense isn't enough.

We lost because we couldn't extend drives. If we had even average ability to get first downs we would have won fairly easily.

The old adage of "the best defense is a great offense" reared its ugly head.

So with that said, probably O line,

Offensive tackle easily. Out of all the SEC conference champions from the last ten years, only 2009 Alabama did not have an all-conference caliber offensive tackle. And if you look at some of the teams that seemingly came out of nowhere to have a great year, all of them had at least one really good offensive tackle. 2010 Auburn had Lee Ziemba, 2012 Texas A&M had Luke Joeckel and Jake Matthews and 2013 Auburn had Greg Robinson. And when Bama improved from 7-6 to 12-2 in 2008, Andre Smith was the main catalyst for that improvement. He had a tremendous year.

Left Tackle - because he protects the most important position.

And depending on what kind of defensive scheme you are using, I'd also argue LB.

I think if I had to choose for my team I would choose to have Jonathan Allen over Cam Robinson. Easy choice too.

Nice try brother. You just can't make retarded statements like that and hope to retain any shred of credibility. He is probably a top 12 pick dude. He is always at the ball and gets there in a hurry. Doesn't miss tackles, great leader and hits as hard as any LB in America. Stupid troll is stupid.

On offense: Tackle
On defense: End or Tackle
Most important position group: Offensive and Defensive Lines
