It's just sports so getting irrationally fired up about firing the guy is pretty dumb. However it's commensurate with his salary, and the tail end of last season was atrocious... he deserved to come under fire. The only thing I found embarrassing was that it got leaked, and I guess the fanbase reaction after the scrub A&M game. The fact that it was used as a political tool by a cynical adinistration was pretty annoying I guess.

I chase them down as a part of my training. I also punch cattle carcasses. I occasionally go to secluded barns in the heart of the Motherland and climb mountains and shite.

My regimen is pretty unorthodox.

Point is, it's still a chicken.

It is. My point is that it's a historical reference and a SC native war hero. So it doesn't really bother me that it's a chicken. A better argument would be that we have cocks in our name.

We would throw the losing chickens on the bon fire during the nightly fights in the barn back when I was a kid. Yeah don't frick with a chicken that has a gaffe hooked on.

I'd like to clarify that I'm not saying these examples to piss off other teams. I'm simply bringing up the arguments I see the most on here. I didn't think that needed to be explained, but there you go.

Yeah the publicity of it had me in Miles corner and his unwavering classy reactions to the ordeal was awesome.

My rant needed to be said, we coonasses have a lot of things that can be poked at. The corndog thing doesn't make since. I was having fun not anything towards you.

Why A&M would opt to join a more difficult athletic conference?

Defending perceptions of racism and below avg. intelligence of SEC fans, especially to Texas fans (They really love laughing at LSU, but Tiger fans seem to believe they have something in common...).

Petrino. Won a ton of games. Burned the program to the ground on his way out.

Mine would be firing of Cutcliffe or anything that happens in the state of Mississippi not particularly related to the U.

It's to keep things fair...

Imagine if we had state of the art facilities. Think about how much better our overall program would become.
