Can an LSU fan try to discuss anything without being accused of whining? LSU will have a better SOS next year, that's a fact.

Sure you could, but you're always too busy whining.

maybe. i think we would've struggled against UGA. Our defense has had issues the last few weeks.

Choctaw i humbly disagree. I think this seasons A&M is the leanest, weakest Texas A&M team we all will face. I think they'll only get better each season from here on out. They'll start getting some very solid recruiting classes and will be a force in the conference.

We had already settled it on the field at Bama. Then we went and settled it on the field against the SEC east in the SECCG. What more is there to prove against anyone in the SEC after that?

Without Manziel or someone equally as talented at QB. A&M would be 8-4 or 7-5 this year.

This is not a dig at A&M. They far exceeded everyone's expectations, but no one knew about Manziel at the time so they will have to forgive our lack of confidence in their team. They have some really good players in their OL and Swope. Defense is playing much better this year as well.

There are at least 4-5 teams in the SEC right now, that will project to do well over time.
LSU
BAMA
UF
UGA (after their resurgence)
TAMU (They are a sleeping giant)

You could make the case for Arky, AU, and SC if they bounce back after coaching changes, and in the case of SC, injury of Lattimore.

UF will be very good, UGA should be pretty good too by the second half of the season...they always suck the first few games of the season.

A&M is going to lose two first round tackles, they will be good at first but the hits will add up and J. Football will go from 1960-70s Muhammad Ali to 2000s Muhammad Ali soon enough. Tyler Wilson is a tough customer but this year he was far more antsy than last year and A&Ms line this year was MUCH better than ours last year. Next year they may not be quite as bad as ours this year, but it will be an even bigger drop from where they were this year. Dropping Florida will help in their schedule a LOT though.

USC will be decent but not great. They were better than I thought this year though. Next year will play out similar to this one for them. They will beat UGA before they gel, then get beat by UF, missing LSU will really help their schedule though. They won't be any better, but their record might be.

Auburn MIGHT be a ton better, they have talent and much of that talent was recruited by Malzahn in the first place. Their offense will be better for sure (I guess it COULD be worse...but the sun COULD blow up tomorrow), but their defense may not be good enough for it to matter much.

Arkansas will be better, but certainly not a threat next year. We will have a MUCH better coaching staff than this year (can't be much worse...see above), our defense will be better and our running game will be better. Our passing game will really miss Wilson and Hamilton though, plus the style change. We won't have the offensive line we need to run the new system either. I see us as a 6-8 win team (counting the bowl), I wouldn't be surprised to see us go 5-7 either with the schedule we have. We will probably lose one we shouldn't and MAYBE win one we shouldn't, but otherwise will play the dog most of the year.

Bama will win the conference next year. THIS was their "rebuilding" year...next year they will be rebuilt and meet UF in the SECCG.

Frosty, i agree that Manziel took us all by surprise this season. I just think A&M will finally take advantage of the fertile recruiting ground they reside in. Those Texas HS kids are really gonna want to play in Baton Rouge, Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Athens,...etc...They will only get better from here on out.

I would say LSU can drop a game and still get in with this schedule in 2013. Maybe BAMA can't with theirs.

You could make the same case for UF this year and that didn't happen. Media doesn't care. 1 loss UA is in the NCG, period.

Seeing as Texas A&M is going to win the West anyway, I don't know why you are bitching.

Why not compare the schedule to another team besides Bama? Geez.

If not for us...they would be in a BCS bowl. Not the BCSNCG because UGA would have whipped them.
