It's pretty rich for an LSU fan to laugh at the stability of OM's program since Freeze arrived four years ago. He's not there yet, but if you plotted Ole Miss' trajectory on a graph you'd see a steady climb from the 2-10 dumpster he inherited. Plot LSU on the same graph since 1-09 and it's a declining trend. With all the advantages LSU has, you can't even recruit and develop a decent QB, and you squander the incredible talent you do have.

OM has had zero changes in coordinators and only a couple of assistants who left for better gigs. LSU has a freaking revolving door, with three DCs in as many years, and a head coach whose firing was reversed during halftime of the A&M game in a pretty good parody of the Keystone Cops.

Stability is a word you might want to look up in the dictionary before laughing about.

That's because y'all know that A&M is a bigger, better school with nicer facilities and a more prestigious program in a less racist state.

Coaching changes happen at big time programs. Has anyone wanted the Ole Miss coordinators for better gigs? If so, they would leave. Our RB coach just got a head coaching job. What can you do

you pulled the top player out of 4 states out of the blue in 2013 after finishing 47th the year before...

Not exactly "out of the blue." Treadwell's best friend and teammate from HS was already at Ole Miss. Nkemdiche's brother was there. Tony Conner grew up 25 miles from Oxford. When elite players like that started listing OM among their favorites and taking visits, it made players like Tunsil interested in seeing what the buzz was about, and he fell in love with OM the minute he stepped on campus. Not saying we didn't sweeten the pot, but "out of the blue" isn't accurate either.

Of course they do, but we're talking about stability. Freeze made a conscious effort to have coaching stability by hiring very competent coordinators who were at the point in their careers that they weren't looking for a stepping stone.

I have no idea how how much or little is going on in the cheating game. I don't have any reason to believe there is a lot. There are probably boosters at every school who send benefits players' way but I doubt it is often enough to sway their final decision. Was our money not good enough for Drew Richmond? How many players have chosen other schools over us? I think there are many reasons for the current state of things but take great pleasure in watching the fans of a bunch of teams that HAVE BEEN CAUGHT CHEATING in the not so distant past moaning over our recruiting.

It's not my fault you aren't able to comprehend the facts I gave about why those recruits didn't just come out of left field.

Btw, your 2016 TBD is correct only in the sense that it's yet to be determine whether we will sign more than the three 5-stars already committed. Two of them are already enrolled; Little is firmly committed; and the odds are very good that at least one more (possibly two or even three more) will end up with us.

What I'm trying to tell you is no one gives a shite if treadwell had a former teammate at ole miss. Is 2013 the only year ole miss had a player with an elite recruit as a former hs teammate?
Pretty sure that applies to every school every year.
And tunsil "thought it was cool" y'all were putting together a top class (8th)? Lol
He "fell in love" the moment he stepped on campus...
Come on man, you don't have to care how you get players but don't eat up everything your mods type for you.

I can understand the family angle with Robert however.

Btw the more you do something (sign out of state 5 stars) the less people question it. Bama signing 3 OOS five stars is the norm. The difference is saban has always had these classes, and has hardware. Freeze has neither.
In that 5 year stretch I just gave you you had 4 years of 0, with one year of 3 in the middle. Raises eyebrows, especially since it wasn't following sudden on field success. And I know, on field success has followed since however.

Treadwell gave a shite. He came to visit his friend the year before, on his own dime, and really liked the atmosphere. Not saying we didn't do what it took to close the deals in 2013, but with the exception of Tunsil we happened to have a very good "in" with the other 5-stars that year.
