Carolina doesn't overly participate in this type of untraceable incentive for recruits

the way the Upstate school has since 1976.

you people down in Florida at FSU & UF should know this is how they 'recruit' your state's top talent by now

until USC becomes more than a novice 'recruiter' the Gamecocks will likely not see the same level of rewards of schools that invest heavily in persuading talent to campus.

You ever heard of a "sleeping giant"? Well aTm is like a giant in a coma.

I agree. And following behind Saban won't be nearly the nest on the ground it is made out to be.

Easy question... Aggies are holding A&M back. It is their destiny.

I think if you check that thread about Dabo you will see I am no alter and I have a basis for saying I know wtf I'm talking about with Aggie football.

I don't have enough time to linger on boards and debate people.

Chases poster who calls him out as an alter onto another thread to post something which has absolutely nothing to do with the thread at hand.

Just like an alter would do.

South Carolina...they are what they are and it's not that pretty
TAMU-Historically, while A&M has always had good teams, they still have struggled with being consistently good.

So they are both just doing what they've been doing for the last 70 years

There's a story of 5* linebacker Raekwon McMillan visiting South Carolina and Spurrier didn't even know his name when they met. That tells you everything you need to know LINK

I think A&M is a lot closer to being atop the SECw than you think
Yeah, no. I don't think so.

They don't play good defense. They don't have consistency at quarterback. They never fully establish the running game and they run too much air raid.

You need to be able to run the ball and stop the run in the SEC to win. And you need to be able to do both when it's predictable.

For A&M it's Sumlin.

For USCe who knows? Sociopath Muschamp probably isn't the answer.

Lol top players more specifically qbs. I can't say for A&M. Conner Shaw went 25-5 as a starter we went 33-3 around that same time span lmao. It's not rocket science. When you have great qbs you always have a chance to be competitive.

Spurrier was always a lazy recruiter, it just didn't matter back in the 90s because he'd coach circles around Stallings and Fulmer.

You also were on the other thread intimating I'm a Sumlin fanboy and claiming that I had no posts on Texags when in fact I have over 3600.

Your reading comprehension sux.

Unfortunately this is probably true. You won't find a Gamecock that denies he absolutely sucked dirty, unwashed arse at recruiting his last couple or so years. He was more interested in golf and resting on his laurels. While we certainly appreciate what he did for us, none of us will forget the way he abandoned us nor will we forget how he quit on us in the recruiting department. It left a bitter taste in our mouths and it was like a slap in the face. That's just being completely honest.

That is one of the many areas that Muschamp and crew do very well, tho. They are recruiting machines and never stop working. Their dedication to the program, the school in general, each other, the alumni and fans and most importantly, the team is night and day from Spurrier.

Alot of shite is missing. They're a&m and south carolina dude. They're second rate programs in their own states. That's their biggest problems to start.
