We should have brought Georgia Tech home along with Clemson, light years before Missouri and A&M. Two rivalries would have had their stakes raised, and some new southern brothers/sisters would have joined our crazy party. Then Cowburn wouldn't have had a chickenshit excuse to run to the East division......

the focus was too much on 'more tv sets' not on traditional rivalries, even though UGA-Clemson , etc would mean better ratings than UGA-Mizzou, etc

G Tech would proably have to abandon their academic standards or add some majors just for football players for it work in the SEC.

I won't bet prior to the FSU game.

their RB is a beast and could win the game by himself

Alas, money spoils all logical plans. Would GT really have to add programs, as Vandy seems to make it work.

NC State would beat a lot of SEC teams this year, so would GA TECH, FSU, UNC, Pitt, Duke and MIami

Dude, I know the SEC. Is having a down year, and that Clemson, FSU, and UNC would all probably go .500 or better in the East this year, but the rest of those teams would get their shite pushed in. The ACC is having a fairly strong year compared to most years, but don't let that go to your head.

Wow!, it's been since 1981 that Clemson won a national title. They are the UGA of the ACC!!

Not a UGA guy, but my father was.

It was like he never actually believed. Sure, they might have a good season but they would have those two losses. What was the point in dreaming?

With Clemson, they've always believed in themselves. And that, that made those crushing defeats even worse.

That NC STate QB is NFL caliber, hard to tackle and elusive, better than any SEC QB I've seen this year

Couldnt beat SC argument invalid

meh, Saban doesn't coach Clemson so not much.

At this point for LSU its "anybody but Bama" because of Saban.

If Saban coaches 4-5 more years and Dabo keeps doing what he's doing , he will be in the top 3 to come to Bama .
He has a shot at the NC this year and will pull most of the SC recruits that he wants for 16-17 with the shape USCe is in. He has a brite future.

Bama would still claim it as their own

I think Miami could play in the SEC this year. just because Clemson destroyed them in a game doesn't mean SEC teams would beat them. Clemson has much better talent on offense, and I believe better on defense in secondary than every SEC school.

Miami's qb is a better passing QB tan any in the SEC
