I think I understand the Auburn fan base after this year a little better. They were obviously quiet last year.

They have a severe case of little brother syndrome coupled with the delusional tendencies not seen since the Hog fans during the Petrino days in fayattenam.

Interesting stuff.

So I'm going to guess 6-3. Losses to LSU and Clemson. They drop one between USC and Mizzou.

THIS ^^^ but they only lose to Clemson because it was the season opener. Clemson was shown to be over-rated but Auburn wasn't as good as they are now at the start. Took them a while to gel.

Beer, I'd steer WAY clear of this game. There are much better bets on the board this week...just my $.02

Edit: Look to bet against some of the complete trash teams who have proven they have nothing, given up, or both. There are some lines with low hanging fruit out there ripe for the picking...

No way Auburn would win at Missouri. But thanks for the input!

In fairness, that game was played in Athens, so it would be a home game for Auburn. Mizzou's first trip ever to Auburn if I were guessing.

Sure Rig, that means everything when talking about this year eh?

Some of you clowns are the Hog lot during the Petrino years part deux.

"Auburn has beaten one top 25 team and now they would skull frick every team in the SEC except Bama, which they would win in a close one."

Am I getting this right? Thats the vibe the fan base is sending out right now around here.

See I think you'd have to add USCe in the tally as well. Now, it would be close...say a fg difference or so BUT by the second game Auburn was still struggling with the mediocre Washington States and Mississippi States of the CFB world. USCe, I think at that juncture would have won by 14 points or so.

Hmm, that would be a good game and I think a fg would be the difference either way. I know as an Auburn fan you would chalk that up as a win but USCe has a really good team. This weekend should tell us a lot more about Auburn. I think they are really good as well, no doubt. I do however think their record might be a shade misleading. Auburn's two "money" games are a split and save a JFF injury, probably 0-2. We'll see of course but as good as Auburn has appeared lately, it has been against some suspect competition/defenses. A team that can take away Auburn's run might dismantle them.

He has a bigger hard on for Auburn than David Housel.
