If the Big 12 falls apart and Texas is added because the SEC feels like A&M cannot carry the state
What would become of A&M
Would any of the other universities in the SEC refuse money added by bringing in Texas to help A&M

I assure you Texas won't even sniff the SEC.

At the VERY LEAST, 6 schools will say no. But that doesn't even matter because we already have a Texas school. It's amazing that people still haven't figured out expansion by now.

They'd probably be so triggered that they would all actually explode.

They're too "proud" to join a conference like the SEC...

Difference is that with the 4 SEC East schools are the biggest brand in their state unlike A&M

In regards to Arkansas or Mizzou. Their hatred of Texas may not be as true as many believe
Arkansas would very much be in favor of playing them every year if they were not allowed to come in and control the SEC's decision making

What

Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, and A&M would all say no. Instantly. We already have a media footprint in Texas, no need for another one.

IF the SEC ever expands, it will be a team from a state not currently in the SEC. North Carolina, Oklahoma, Virginia...

But the SECnetwork can be purchased anywhere in the world

If Texas flirts with the BIG
Would the SEC make an offer

I would actually love to see Texas in the SEC.

West:
Texas
Texas A&M
LSU
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Miss State
Mizzou
Alabama

East:
Kentucky
Tennessee
Vandy
Georgia
Florida
S. Car
West Virginia
Auburn

Letting Texas into the SEC would be the worst thing possible for the conference. They would bring way too much influence and would dominate on the field and in recruiting with the right coach. That is a scary program you don't want in your backyard.

I'm telling you exactly why the SEC wouldn't and why Texas will never join the SEC and you refuse to read it

Thread is anchored anyways.

Clemson Louisville Florida St and Georgia Tech are not Texas
It is easy for you guys to convince each other to block little brother from your respective states
Money makes any agreement irrelevant so would South Carolina be willing to protect A&M's SEC territory if they would lose money in doing so

No. USC makes a lot more money and has a larger fanbase than Clemson. They have the better football team, but are not the biggest brand in SC.
