Completely agree. This team has the talent and potential to beat anyone if they'd re gelling. It's goin to be tough for them to consitentaly play their A+ game the rest of this schedule.

Yep. I feel like AU is just taking longer than last year to find an offensive groove. I feel pretty good about us getting there, but we were a well oiled machine to some extent last year, and this year is requiring more alterations. I'm confident that Gus will have something for these big games, and I feel good about our defense's trajectory, especially with better offensive play, but it's still asking a lot.

In the end, I think we'll be a 10-2 team that could very well win the playoff, which we obviously would be unlikely to participate in. That's just a burden of schedule like this. I suppose it could be worse. Imagine if TAMU and SCAR were good.

in other words, because you are a Auburn fan and Auburn just doesn't lose to ole miss or state college/Starkville....fair enough, thanks for giving me your reasons. and good luck with that.

Good luck to you as well. As much as I'd like to see your ridiculous superiority about a perennially bad team totally frick up your universe, I'm actually happy for the non-douchebag fans of Ole Miss and hope the Mississippi schools get a shot at it if Auburn can't.

This is a question that that should have been posted on the AU board if you actually wanted a serious well thought out answer. What did you expect out of a couple of (still butt hurt) juvenile uga fans and a bammer or two?

You are not going to beat UGA.. specially if Gurley comes back.

Some of the UGA and Bama fans have given fair enough responses. The one who thinks we're going 7-5 is kind of dumb, but it's his opinion, I suppose.

FWIW I did the same thing with LSU, predicting them to go 8-4. I'll probably be close to correct, but I don't think this guy will have my luck.

Auburn and Alabama both win out going into the Iron Bowl. Set it up for an Iron bowl finish just like last year. The landmasses have there fun early..but choke late in the season with Auburn beating Ole Miss and State losing to Bama.

Without winning the turnover battles I could see them finish 9-3. Win the turnovers and 11-1 is possible.

And what does a thread titled "what will auburn's record be after the iron bowl?", in which posters gave their honest answers, have to do with who georgia has beaten?

Just trying to figure out where the confidence is coming from. I mean, you lost to South Carolina, even with Gurley going for 131. Tune in Saturday night and watch what Auburn does to the cocks.

Well, if you're talking about losses, Auburn got their arse stomped by State. Uga lost in a very close one.

So if you want to talk about losses, Auburns looks much worse than UGAs.

You can't be serious. Tell me, where are USC and Miss State currently ranked?

I think I'll let you know after we play usc.

It literally all hinges on our O line play. Been saying this for a week.

Does it matter?
UGA lost a close one to their most hated rival.
Auburn got blown out. Yeah, it was the best team, but still got blown out. You really have no right to say Auburn is so much better than UGA after that loss.
When was the last time a great team has gotten blown out in the regular season?

Going to disagree there, even if it doesn't matter. Auburn lost to the #1 team in their worst performance of the season (admittedly MSU wasn't that great either, our TOs just hurt worse), in a game MSU fans on here acknowledged they were nervous about until about 3 minutes left.

But comparing losses is dumb. Neither team will look the same by the time we play anyway.

Well funny you should mention it... (even if neither were true blowouts).
