What were A&M's realistic expectations this year anyway?

Obviously it appears they have a good team right now, but were A&M fans expecting say....something like 11-2 with a possible SECCG appearance? Or was it more of a "the year after this is the one."

Most wanted a minimum of 8 wins, some wanted as high as 10 or 11 but knew that would be difficult.
9-3 should be our minimum almost halfway through the season. Bama, lsu, & ole miss are good teams. If we drop one we shouldn't to auburn or usce then they better beat one of those three.

this^^^. i had us at 10-2 regular season.
our team doesn't peak until next year.

I believe I predicted 9-3, and said an extra win/loss either way wouldn't surprise me.

Prior to the season I think it was generally an 8-4/9-3 expectation. The West was supposed to be absolutely stacked from top to bottom but now its clear that isn't the case. Also the ASU game was a tossup. Certainly ASU, Arky, and MSU weren't considered gimmes.

I predicted 10-2. With anything between 8-4 to 11-1 as the range I saw as floor and ceiling.

Yes, not sure why they are resorting to overt lying. Glad the Mods are cleaning up that trash.
I was expecting 3 losses this year. If we somehow beat Bama. We can run the table.
